Dating Sunday

Today is the single most popular day to be on a dating app.

The first Sunday of the year is considered “Dating Sunday” because there’s an explosion of people online looking to connect with the right partner.

If you’re online, does your dating profile make you stand out from the crowd? (If not, we can help).

Are you even online? (If not, we can help you prepare to take the leap).

Activity on dating apps are expected to increase 40% on this day, thanks to the time of year (people have more free time after the rush of the holiday season) as well as human psychology (the new year is typically a time when people resolve to improve things in their lives). Plus, having Valentine’s Day around the corner gets people thinking about having someone to share that special day with.

A new year represents a fresh start, a time of introspection that can motivate people to move forward and open themselves up to new possibilities.

If you’ve missed your chance to be online today, don’t despair. The entire month of January is a great time to be online if you are resolved to meet someone special.

We know online dating can be frustrating. We know it can seem like you might never meet the right person. Trust us, we’ve been there ourselves.

We understand that the prospect of online dating scares a lot of older women: “What if I get scammed?” “What if I get stood up?” “There aren’t any good men out there.” “What if I never meet someone?”

We’ve heard it all.

These are the “barriers to entry” to online dating that prevent women from signing up for dating apps (and thus prevent them from meeting a great companion, friend, or potential mate online). While these fears are legitimate, they are often unfounded.

Once you learn certain strategies, such as how to stay safe on a date, how to maintain your optimism, how to approach potential dates, when to swipe left and when to swipe right, your confidence — and your success — will increase.

We know there are plenty of great people out there because many of our workshop participants have had success meeting the right partner  (and we met each other online almost  4 years ago, thanks to Tinder).

It's entirely natural to want to find a special someone to share the ups and downs of life with. Having a supportive and loving partner is the greatest hope for so many. Your chances of making this happen are far greater if you take the risk and go online than if you do nothing at all.
